  ~ A day in Bouddhanath Stupa,Nepal ~ 

#13th June 2013

With heart full of pride i photographed this UNESCO world heritage under preserved monument - BouddhaNatha Stupa, Kathmandu, Nepal. I still remember my childhood time, it was printed & preserved in our primary class text book. I grew up older but never had a chance to let my eyes see those beautiful eyes of wisdom. Many thanks to bhai(brother) Prasim Gurung for finally assembling a visit in this enchanting soulful world.

The BLACK DAY

A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck my country- Nepal led to massive destruction. The day when whole nation went with circle of fears, cried blood of tears & the government instantly declared the state of emergency.
BUT in another hand it has taught us all with progressive and sense of patriotic lesson. From individual to international level, helping hands and fund collection were in immense & still on. We  bounced back, wiped tears and stood up holding our hand together aggressively for we are the proud Nation of Brave Gurkah which has / had never been colonized.

#Sad to see when those Lord Buddha's eye left behind the bar. 

But internally Glad to see that it has been bestowed on speedy renovation.
